Coach
Lindo is an accomplished chess player and coach with a FIDE rating of 1936 and a Chess SA rating of 2081. After discovering chess at the age of 19, he quickly rose through the ranks, proving that dedication and hard work can overcome a late start.
His achievements include winning the KZN Open (2019), Mzansi Classic (2025), and JMC Closed (2025), as well as finishing 7th at the USSA Championships. Lindo is passionate about helping students develop not only their chess skills but also confidence, critical thinking, and discipline through engaging, practical coaching.
