Our Story
Mzansi Chess Academy’s decision to launch its Chess Academy was driven by a strong commitment to help young people in South Africa.
Mzansi Chess Academy began their journey with a few goals in mind:
To foster the intellectual and personal development of the youth in South Africa. To use chess as an educational tool, to enhance thinking capabilities and improve all young minds through the amazing game of chess.
We wanted to build a Chess Academy that could nurture the chess talent of children from a very young age, but also develop opportunities for top-level players, provincial and national, to thrive and grow to reach their full potential. A home for all Chess players, irrespective of their level
